Intellectual Property

How CoMavera approaches ownership and visibility of ideas.

Draft guidance. This page is a placeholder while CoMavera's policies are prepared and reviewed. It is not final policy and is not legal advice.

You keep ownership

Submitting an idea does not transfer ownership to CoMavera.

Visibility levels

Open Innovation, Protected Concept and Commercial Collaboration are planned categories. Selecting one does not by itself create legal protection.

Public visibility

Anything you post publicly can be seen and potentially reused by others. If an idea may be patentable, public disclosure can affect your rights — consider taking professional advice before sharing details.

Contributor credit

The intention is that contributors are credited for their input. How ownership is shared between a creator and collaborators will need a separate written agreement between them; CoMavera will not decide this automatically.

Confidentiality

CoMavera does not currently offer non-disclosure agreements or guarantee confidentiality. Do not share secret or sensitive details.

Limits

Timestamps or public posts alone do not establish legal ownership, confidentiality or patent eligibility. This wording is a draft awaiting legal review.
